Apply to NCAS

Where do I access the NCAS application?

The application is asking for my NCAS ID #. Where do I get this?

  • Once you have entered your information into the required fields, click "Create Account" at the bottom of the page.
  • A message will pop up and confirm your account has been successfully  created. You will receive your permanent NCAS ID #. Keep that number handy as you will be asked to provide it throughout your journey through NCAS.

I have questions or need assistance with my application. Who do I contact?

  • Contact NCAS. One of our team members will be happy to help.
  • Phone: 604-742-6376 or toll-free (Canada only) 1-833-742-6376- Please note, phone calls are answered on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
We are experiencing a high volume of emails and applications. We appreciate your patience as we try to respond in a timely manner. Please do not email or call NCAS more than once, as this will slow our response time and will delay the review of your application. Unfortunately, we will not be able to respond to inquiries regarding processing timelines or status updates on your application.  We will reach out to you should we have any questions or need any further information. Thank you for your cooperation
How long will it take to finish the NCAS process?
  • How long it takes depends on how quickly you can get your documents to us, and whether or not we refer you for a competency assessment.  If you meet all the requirements, you might be able to move through NCAS in under 16 weeks.
  • You have one year from the date of application to complete the process. At the end of the year, your application will be closed.

How long do I have to submit documents? And can I re-open my application?

You have one year to submit documents once you open an application with NCAS. If your application closes, you can re-open it at any time.

I've paid for NNAS – can I withdraw my application and get a refund of my application fee?

We encourage you to contact NNAS to understand your options based on where you are in the process.

I've signed my “Return of Service" (ROS) Agreement with Health Match BC; what are the next steps?

That's great! Please upload your NCAS application and identification documents to your Online Services account. Please do not upload any documents related to your ROS. Health Match BC will send us your eligibility information itself.
