The Nursing Community Assessment Service (NCAS) needs you!
NCAS is looking for nursing professionals to serve as subject matter experts (SMEs) in its competency assessment development process. SMEs write assessment cases and questions, develop and revise standards, validate assessments, and help with field testing. This is occasional work throughout the year.
NCAS is a competency-based assessment service for nursing professionals applying for practicing registration who cannot provide evidence that they meet the education and/or competency requirements for registration. It is a three-step assessment involving a computer-based assessment (which can be taken internationally), and a simulation lab assessment and oral assessment (which take place at Langara College in BC).
