Scheduling CBA and SLA – Saskatchewan

How do I schedule my NCAS assessment?

To schedule an NCAS assessment, we must have received and processed your referral from a referring organization.

Computer-based Assessment: The CBA is administered by Prometric at their testing centres across Canada and around the world. Once you have paid the NCAS assessment fee, you will be sent a link to Prometric's online scheduling tool and can self-schedule, choosing from a range of dates and testing centre locations nearest you.

RPN only: Registered Psychiatric Nurse candidates can complete their CBA virtually via remote proctoring with Prometric; you will see this option available when scheduling your CBA.

Simulation Lab Assessment:  SLA assessments are conducted virtually by a video conferencing platform.

It is recommended that you do not make any travel arrangements until you have scheduled your CBA and/or SLA assessments.

When can I take my SLA?

RPN SLA assessments are offered every 3-6 months, based on candidate need.

Please contact us for scheduling.

Do I need to take the CBA before I take the SLA? Which component should I take first? Both the CBA and SLA are mandatory components of your NCAS assessment. We recommend that you take the CBA before taking the SLA. Preparing for the CBA will help you be better prepared for the SLA(s).
How can I contact NCAS to cancel or reschedule? Please review our Fees & Policies page for details on rescheduling and cancellation. If you still have questions, we're happy to help.
